Disaster Looms in the 2006 Midterms
That's right. 
I predict the nightmare is about to happen. House Speaker Pelosi will be words we constantly hear uttered in abosulte joy by the MSM for the next two years. Here comes impeachment, gridlock, and 2 years of absolutely dirty politics. I know some of the other conservative bloggers out there are hoping Republican get out the vote efforts will pull us through, and I hope they do as well. I will welcome being wrong on this. But I will be shocked if I am. So get ready folks, the baby killers are about to be back in control.
That said, there is a silver lining. We are not going to lose the Senate. It's a long shot, but its actually possible we pick up a seat. Not likely, but hey, its politics, anything is possible. OK, I will stop being so optomistic. Anyway, we will keep the Senate. Thats silver lining #1.
Silver lining #2. After 2 years of Speaker Pelosi and her partners in treason running the House, the American people will look and say, "What were we thinking?", and promptly give the House back to the Republicans in 2008.
Looking forward to 2008, I guess my biggest concern is who will be the Reagan conservative we are all looking for to lead us. I love Newt but am hearing he will not run, which is a shame. Republicans win when they nominate conservative candidates. They lose when they run Bob Dole, and there are a ton of Dole's in next years field (McCain, Guilianni, etc.).
We can all spend the next two years talking about who will replace Bush. Until next time.................
