Iran vs the World (I mean vs. Israel and the USA)

Just in case your head has been buried in the sand the recently, things are about to come to a head with Iran.  I know you libs are worried that Bush “might go off the deep end” and attack them, so I wanted to put my 2 bits in on the topic.

Iran has already responded to UN (remember, U is for Useless) demands that it stop uranium enrichment, and Iran has basically asid no to that, but they do want to talk some more.  More talk (i.e. delay tactics) will simply lead to more apparent tough talk from the French before they cave as always in the end (see their recent flip flop on sending troops to Lebanon).  The Russians and Chinese of course like the idea of more delay time for their pitbull (Iran) so they are supporting it (anything to mess with the good old USA).  So, the USA will stand firm and plead for tough sanctions after Iran refuses to stop enrichment even after further talks, the Europeans will wuss out, and the Russians and Chinese will laugh.  Then what?

Israel will go it alone.  That is my prediction.  Olmert is incredibly weakened after this total leadership disaster against the Hezbo’s.  If he and his party want to stay in power, they will need a strong move, and they are under tremendous political pressure right now.  Not to mention, per my previous post, the whole cease fire thing is about to unravel.  The Israeli’s already believe they killed some Iranian troops (i.e. meaning they were attacked by them) while battling the Hezbo's, and therefore have the right to declare war on Iran.  Well, they might not declare war, but unannounced missile and plane bombardment is on the menu.

When you ask?  I say before the end of this year.  What happens after that?   That is where it gets interesting……..

Syria will then want to get involved, at Iran’s request of course, since they are Iran’s little pitbull.   They will send ground forces into Lebanon to support the Hezbo’s, which will already be active again.  I don’t think Egypt enters, but it’s possible.  The Egyptian people will want to, but not the government.  Iran will retaliate with missiles against Israel, causing some real damage.  Then Bush will FINALLY decide that since the war is already on, and Iran has (in my mind at least) already attacked the US by sending terrorists into Iraq to attack our troops, we will begin using assets in Iraq to support the Israeli efforts.  We were “drug into it” so to speak.

The UN will call lots of meetings to show blatant anti-Semitism towards Israel, and the liberal press will play every clip, ignoring any anguish or tragedy in Israel (unless you are watching Fox News of course).  Russia and China will laugh some more.  Iran will be in bad shape, Israel will have taken some damage, and the rest of the world will hate the USA and the Israeli’s just a little more (if that is possible).  But in the end, while the Iranian nuclear program will have not been destroyed, it will be setback considerably.

So, you don’t like my prediction?  To violent?  To unbelievable?  To imaginative (like that is possible)?  Too much good vs. evil, which makes me simpleton (besides, the US is the evil one, right)?  I am not saying I will be right (no really, I might be wrong), I am just placing my bets.  It is entirely possible that Bush and the Republicans will be so worried about the Novemeber elections (i.e. public opinion) that they will do nothing but saber rattle and pressure Olmert to do the same.  Whatever (or better said, whenever it) happens, I don’t understand how anyone cannot understand or ignore the threat of a nuclear Iran.  The difference between Iran and the rest of the countries in the world that have nukes (including North Korea) is that the man at the helm is crazy enough to use them no matter what the consequences.  Anyone who cannot grasp these consequences is a danger to themselves and the rest of us.  Anyone who thinks any amount of diplomacy will solve the problem probably thinks Napoleon Dynamite should have won an Oscar for best picture, or Algore should run for President again, or …………..  you get the picture.

You think all this is bad, stay tuned next time when I tackle the prospect of waking up one fine January morning and hearing this nightmare on the news.  “Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that………..”.

First Blog - Israel vs the Hezbo's

Well, I am finally taking the plunge.  My own blog.  After years of reading everyone else’s, the time as come.  What can you expect?  In general, what drives me insane, what makes me uneasy, what I struggle to understand is the bias of the liberal media.  So while there will be posts on this blog outside that realm, bringing Common Sense to an Ignorant World (that has been created by the liberal media and their partners in crime), is what you will get the most of.

So here goes.  Israel vs the Hezbo’s.  First question, why did they (Israel) stop?  Why did they agree to this ridiculous cease fire that was doomed from the start?  Any person with a pulse should be able to look at the situation and know that it will never work.  “Aw man, give peace a chance” you say.  “You’re just another war monger blogger that wants to solve everything with a gun and violence”.  That is what you libs are saying.

First, lets put the Israeli’s situation in perspective.  Lets say the Fidel Castro sends a few guys to Miami and captures two American Soldiers, and then starts launching missiles into Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, etc., and is threatening to hit Orlando.  What would/should we do.  Go to the United Nations?  Take a poll to see if we should be upset (The poll would be conducted in France on what we should be feeling, of course)?  Start negotiations for the return of our soldiers with Supper Commie Castro?  NO!   We would do what Israel did.  Our sovereignty was violated.  Let me introduce you to carpet bombing and invasion forces.  The only difference is, when it was all over, 1) Castro (if still alive) would not be capable of future attacks, and 2) our captured troops would be returned.

So here we have a terrorist organization (The Hezbo’s for those of you playing at home) whose soul purpose in life is the elimination of an entire country and the Jewish people in it, supplied by Syria, controlled by Iran.  Good vs Evil right?  Cue the liberal media.  When it’s all over, general world opinion is that Israel is the bad guy.  PLLLLEASSEE!   Doctored photos!  Staged photos!  The poor Lebanese!  The same Lebanese government that allows an army not controlled by the government to do as it wishes.  (It would be like letting Maryland have their own miltia and the U.S. government ignores them and lets them do as they please.)  These lies then lead to a world wide outcry for peace, which I am for, but the outrage and anger is aimed at Israel, who is the real victim here, and not the terrorists who started the problem.  This is what the liberal media has done once again.  They have made the good guys the bad guys and the evil guys the victims.  URGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! And people are buying it!!!!!!!!

I could go on forever, but in the end………….

  1. None of Israel’s goals were achieved.  There should have never been a cease fire.  The enemy is still there and the two soldiers are still held captive.
  2. The cease fire brokered by the UN (the U stands for Useless, another blog for another day) is a joke.  Lebanon is already saying their troops will not disarm the Hezbo terrorists.  Oh, but the French lead forces are coming in, so they will disarm the Hezbo’s.  Hold on though, the French are now reported as saying they are not going to disarm them you (Lebanese) have to.
  3. When the cease fire, well, ceases, and Israel goes back in, I hope Olmert has the wisdom and backing of the U.S. to do what he said they would do when it all started.  Remove the terrorist’s ability to attack them and get their soldiers back, just as we would have done in the Castro scenario I mentioned earlier.
  4. For those of you who worry that Israel resuming its campaign (to defend its sovereignty and existence) will create a wider war with Syria and Iran…… well duh!  Ultimately, I believe this is inevitable.  Iran is pulling ALL the strings in the middle east now, and has been for some time.  Iran’s president (a great Hitler impersonator) has stated he wants them (Israel) wiped off the map.  He also wants nukes, and I have read where some intelligence experts believes he already has them.  He does not want peace.  He is evil, despite what Mike Wallace might think (don’t even get me started on that interview).   I say get it over with and move on.  P.S.  Seems like we are in a pretty good position to assist if necessary (see Iraq).

Until next time…………………………….
